Delicious coffee and cake - great if you like 80s flair.

Excursion restaurant, wonderfully situated in the vines, with a wonderful view of the Rhine plain, the Black Forest and the Vosges.

Beautiful view, very friendly service. Local food and furnishings stuck in the last century. Feuetwhetorte retrospective but very tasty.

Very nicely located restaurant. Particularly noteworthy is the range of cakes and the wonderful view. A beautiful hiking trail leads to the Lenzenberg town hall. Easily accessible by car - there is plenty of parking space.

Unfortunately, after a long ascent on foot, even after a 20-minute wait, no entry was possible. We didn't even need an outside seat, we just wanted to take packaged ice cream with us. That was a shame.

Waiter was polite and I liked the view of the chickens. Unfortunately, the coffee was not aromatic and tasted like hot cheap broth. 3 stars, absolutely fair, on the whole it's ok but doesn't knock you off your feet either

A very nice place with a great view. The guest with a doctor's certificate is forced to show so loudly that defamation from the neighboring tables was inevitable despite the open air. A place that does not invite you to linger under these premises. The service staff was only friendly after a long conversation. There can also be good reasons not to wear a mask, it is not prohibited.

A place with a wonderful all-round view in the middle of the vineyards. The food is home-style and with a reasonable price-performance ratio.

1 star for the food, the second for the great view. Although ordered a Coke, Pepsi came without being asked. When it comes to food, quantity was clearly more important than quality. The spaetzle were on the verge of inedible. The schnitzel contained the inferior quality of meat with strips of fat, no one has heard of the knocking of meat here. The whole thing was crowned by the toilet from the 70s, the smell of which is unbearable as soon as you enter. The missing (!!) flush buttons, you have to press a rancid screw and urinal dividing curtains (?!) say enough here, see photos (oha, it seems to be censored. I wouldn't want to show this toilet either). I hope the management goes over the books again here. So that's not how it works.

Very good cake and the coffee tastes good too. The staff is in top shape. The view is simply brilliant, with clear weather as far as the Swiss Alps, panoramic view of the Freiburg Black Forest and on the other side of the Vosges, great views

The road to this restaurant was like in the middle of nowhere BUT you won't regret driving all the way up here for a wonderful lunch. Service was great, food was really good, ambiance is a big plus. I had the tongue dish, family had their steaks, and other food. EVERYTHING was really good. Thank you for a wonderful lunch with impeccable service!

Nicely done rest house with a great view. The staff is very friendly and attentive. For the little ones there are play structures, a swing and fenced chickens, geese, goats, etc. But now to eat ... First there was a salad and then venison cakes with herb spaetzle and chanterelles. The salad was consistent and tasted good. The venison cakes were still juicy and very pleasantly seasoned. They were really successful. The chanterelles rounded off the meatballs. Only the herb spaetzle was unfortunately a little too greasy. I suspect that a little too much butter has been taken, but that can happen. All in all I can recommend a visit to everyone.

Beautifully located excursion restaurant in the middle of the Kaiserstuhl above Ihringen, which can be reached in many ways. We came from the Lilienthal on the somewhat flatter forest paths - approx. 5.5 km, which are also good for prams. The Lenzenberg is always signposted here. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. For a place to enjoy the magnificent view, you should reserve.

Very nice excursion bar with an amazing panorama over the Rhine plain. A good starting point for taking short walks. In terms of price. Mostly very full. Quality goes so far. Staff friendly. Over the years, it has been very successfully expanded.

Great location for a break while hiking southern kayserstuhl: magnificent view to Vosges mountains in France and -depending on weather- the Alps in switzerland. Really decent local food at fair prices for a remote location. Also kids appear to love some bunnies, hens, turkeys and goat that are herded next to the place. Definitely a place to visit!

Great view!

Rasthaus Lenzenberg is a great choice after a nice hike through the vineyards of the Kaiserstuhl: a beautiful view paired with a decent meal (huge portions, fresh, but don't expect anything extra-ordinary) atop a hill. Other critics were concerned with a long wait; we went on a week day, a couple of tables were taken - so the service and kitchen were rather prompt. My girolle soup was slightly on the salty side, the vegetarian 'Maultaschen' could have had a more unique taste, but I wouldn't really complain... My family was happy with liver and Schnitzel. So, if you're up for a savory 'Vesper' (Southern German for snack) with some wine or beer, or an afternoon break with coffee and cake, Rasthaus Lenzenberg won't disappoint!
